I had this speak with PANACHE workshop yesterday when it was band investiture. Somehow, all my programmes like to clash with each other in such a way that when I am going to be busy, I will be very busy, and when I am going to be free, I will be so free that I cannot find anything better to do. Anyway, the speak with panache workshop was quite useful, it made me realise and be more aware of the way I am supposed to speak and the common things people do that cause the standard of their speech presentation to be lowered.
Strangely enough, I did not take a single picture while at the chalet last night. I was planning to take some pictures but ended up not taking any. Other than the bowling bit, I feel that the programme was quite fun. I did not go with the rest to bowl because I sent Shaun, Charissa and Elinor out to the bus stop and ended up being the only person left in the chalet other than a couple. Being a nice person, I decided not to disturb them and I went out to sit at the seaside alone. Well, it was quite boring to sit there for more than an hour but listening to the waves break was really very relaxing.
When all of them finally came back from the bowling alley, a small group of us went to send Xiu Yu home. After cycling around for quite some time, we were on our way back to the chalet where we met another group of people. We ended up cycling to the end of east coast park (the Changi end). The last quarter of the route we completed was almost in total darkness. There were no lamps, just some light from the buildings on our left at times and quite a long stretch of it was just dense vegetation on both sides with no light at all. I suppose we spent around half an hour walking that stretch of darkness before ending up outside the Tanah Merah SAFRA resort. It was quite an experience to walk in the dark. I don't think I will ever get the chance to do it again in the near future. Even if I get the chance to do so, I wouldn't dare to go alone. I really enjoyed the walk and the cycling but now my butt is very pain.
I'll stop here for now. I'm getting quite tired already.
