The registration queue was not too long and the wait was just fine but when I got the queue number for taking the X-ray, even though there were only 5 more people to go before me, the wait was long. Another thing was that they did not have my folder of all my past X-rays I have taken. Someone even complained that his queue number was skipped as the LED indicator jumped from 14 to 17.
I was relieved when a nurse took me and some other patients to another room for X-ray because of the long queue but to my dismay, I waited more than 20 minutes for the film to be developed. This was the longest I have ever waited for 2 X-ray films to be developed there. Because of that, I was late for the appointment and had to wait for some time before I was allowed to see the doctor.
The doctor was quite a disappointment although he was the same person to see me last year. One of the first things he did was to get me a medical certificate exempting me from all physical activities. Is that necessary at all? Given my current condition, I can still walk, run, jump, hop, cycle, swim and do anything another person can do. If I have to strictly observe the medical certificate, I would rather be dead. How can I ever live a day without running about? Even when I am sick, I enjoy running about. Maybe it is because he has forgotten my condition since the last time he saw me was last year but I feel that the situation would be slightly different if the hospital staff had given him my past X-rays. I seriously do not think that there is a growth in the fibrous thing in my leg. If he had seen the past few X-rays and asked me whether I have difficulties while doing physical activities, I would definitely believe that the exemption was totally unnecessary. Also because of that, my next appointment will be in 6 months time instead of 12 months. Can't they have kept my folder properly? It was the staff who postponed my appointment and they should be responsible for bringing out my folder today so that the doctor could compare the X-rays. I am quite disgusted that this was not done.
Anyway, after leaving the hospital, the band was already starting on the rope game when I arrived in school. I did not want to join them under the sun and sweat at first, but in the end, I joined them. It was quite fun trying to avoid being hit by the rope as it goes round and round. After that was lunch followed by the curtain game, balloon bursting and the starch game. All thanks to Andrew who dirtied my clothes, I decided to jump in and join in the fun. I even forgot that I had my handphone in my pocket and it landed on the starch when I was struggling to free myself from the people who were trying to pin me down.
After that was cleaning up. It really took up quite some time as most of the people left straight after the starch game, leaving only a handful of us to clean up. It was quite fun on the whole. After cleaning up and drying ourselves, we went to the food court at Tampines Mall to have dinner. The claypot noodles was very delicious but the only thing bad about it is that the amount of noodles is too little to fulfill my hunger. I had to buy another plate of fried carrot cake and eat some left over porridge which was extremely salty because Baoying added a little too much soy sauce to it to satisfy my hunger.
We left the food court just before 10pm and went home. The moment I reached home, I had to turn on the computer to reply an important email that I had to reply by tonight. I spent around half an hour replying the email before taking my bath that I have been waiting for for a very long time.
I have already spent half an hour typing this entry and I think I should stop here. I still have lots of holiday homework to complete and my eyelids are already getting very heavy.
Once again, I would like to ask for all of you who are free this Sunday to come down to the covered walkway at Tampines interchange, where the MRT tracks are to support me. I'll be there from 10am - 5pm. Come down to find out what is going on. Thank you.
