I feel that it is very fun to take a small section for sectional. I guess that taking a section with about 6 people is much easier than to take a section with over 20 people and with half of them talking more than the music they play. Actually teaching is not that difficult, especially when you see the people trying, and willing to learn. It might be a slow process, but at least there is a difference and an improvement.
We did not do much today, apart from going through parts of the Lion King with Mr Chua. I think he is not very happy with the attendance. He even suggested we cancel Wednesday's practice. I would rather think of the happier things.
After band, I did not do much. I went home and took a nap before going for tuition, where I spent 2 hours doing only 80 multiple choice questions. I went back home and watched part of the second part of Harry Potter.
I am still waiting to be contacted for the delivery of the new computer. I can't wait any longer.
If there are any band people reading this, if you would like to place an order for the CD "Decennium", please let me know. It consists of 2 CDs and contains Xenia Sarda and many other pieces by Hardy Mertens. It is selling for only about $18. People from Ngee Ann and Hai Sing has placed quite a number of orders with Mr Chua. The price might be reduced further if he orders in bulk, and we will be playing that for the concert this year. It is highly recommended that you buy your own CD or share it with your friends or section.
