Almost the end of the third week of the June holidays already. I have finally started on my holiday homework. I am now quarter-way through the e maths homework. I was watching Arts Central and doing my homework at the same time. The programme was about Abigail Sin. I think she is very talented. She got her diploma in piano performance at the age of 9, and she is only 11 years old now. She even performed with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.

Going back to yesterday, band practice went on quite smoothly. Mrs Chua finally seems a little less cold to the band, and the band is playing a little better. I am still not quite happy with the attendance because it reflects badly on the band. I believe that there are a few people I have not seen since the holidays started.

After band, I was supposed to go for a rehearsal for today's interview till around 3pm, but Mr Kwang was so kind as to let me off after speaking to me for less than 3 minutes. This is one of the very few times he is so good towards me.

After that, Hong Wei, Jun Long, Huai Ping and I went to Silas' house before walking from his place to the chalet, which was quite a long walk away. We then waited for Qixin and Lee Hui to come before walking all the way to somewhere near McDonald's to rent bicycles. We did not cycle for half an hour before some of us turned back to bring Yee En and Gui Dan over. When we got to the bicycle shop again, the girls exchanged their bicycles for double bicycles, which I ended up riding because they did not know how to ride it. That was my first time on a double bicycle. It is a little harder to steer and a lot harder to balance, especially when the person at the back does not lean towards the turn.

After cycling for quite some time, we went back to the chalet unit and watched television while the rest of them played mahjong. We went for dinner at 8pm but it ended up with the guys returning the double bicycles and the girls ordering take-away because bicycles were not allowed in the hawker centre. I had to go to Victoria School to bring Xiao Feng to the chalet and we ended up waiting for more than 10 minutes for the rest to reach.

After that was dinner and a short photo-taking session. I shall try to publish the photos here if I have the time. After catching World Idol, the guys went cycling again while I stayed in the chalet unit alone. I did not want to go with them because I had to catch some sleep because I had a interview this morning. They came back only around 3am. I did not really remember what happened after that because I was drifting in and out of sleep.

The interview today seemed quite a success to me. Everything went on rather smoothly and very quickly. The panel of judges were also very warm, asking some questions that were totally irrelevant to what they were supposed to ask just to liven things up. Hopefully, my group will be shortlist for the finals.

As for now, I would like to have a good sleep.
