Today I went for section outing at Pasir Ris Park. We rented the bicycles for two and a half hours and it cost us nine dollars each. Only Fiona, Shirley and Baoying turned up although it is called a "section outing". Pasir Ris Park is small. We managed to cover the whole park twice over, which is from one end to the other end and back to the same end two times and waste around half an hour resting in the sun. I think I got quite a fair bit redder. Hopefully the tan will stay on me for some time. I think the cranky old man at the rental shop is trying to be funny. If I'm not wrong, he was the same guy who went to the 3C barbeque last year to critise the way the fire was started. I couldn't really remember at first and it was only when I heard him trying to tell jokes when I remembered it. "The wind is blowing from East to West and an electric train is traveling from West to East, which direction is the smoke going towards?" Answer: There is no smoke as it is an electric-powered train. He caught Baoying unaware and real hard. "What is in the middle of the ocean?" Answer: E. "What is in the middle of pig?" That is for you to answer.
I had quite a fun time cycling, only that the park was a little too small, we were not cycling fast enough and that my butt hurts now. Maybe I should try renting better bicycles. Later when we went back to White Sands mall, we met a group of 4D people at NTUC. This group of people were quite okay with me but the other group of 4D people we met at the interchange excluding the first group, were the ones I would never want to meet. Anyway, I am so delighted when it started to pour. I think I'm being a little mean here. Hope that they will have an enjoyable time at the chalet.
After that we went to Shirely's house and did nothing much other than play some games. I think that if I had actually have to spend a whole day playing all those games, I would have no brain cells left even to speak properly. I could see the drastic drop at the rate that I was progressing.
I walked to my grandmother's house after that because I did not like the idea of changing buses. It is not that far after all, walking from Aquarius to Bedok North. I think that will be enough exercise for the day.
