Band wasn't that great today. It did start off rather fine, but it got worse as time passed. Firstly, I remembered Mr Chua saying that both he and Mrs Chua would be here at around 9am, so he wants us to do some warming up before they come, but when he came today, he sounded quite angry because the main band was working out on some piece after warming up. He said that he wanted the junior band in the band room.

Things got a little better after that, but I think some people have succeeded making Mrs Chua angry. I'm glad that she reprimanded the band for talking every time she stops because it was quite effective in keeping the people quiet. I hope that they will remember this and not be so noisy the next time somebody is up there conducting.

I finally have some people to give some of my responsibility to. Now two of the sec 3s will be in-charge of band, and these 2 people will be rotated till the end of the June holidays. Hopefully by then, I would be able to find the suitable people for the next committee so that the current sec 4s can hand over the band to them. They will need some time to get used to leading the band, to gain respect, and most importantly, bring the band through next year's SYF.
