I thought that my father would at most settle for a mid-range desktop computer if he was going to get something, but he surprised me by looking out for notebooks. He bought a notebook from Dell costing $2299. I think that it was one of the best deals at the PC show. The others with almost the same configurations cost at least a few hundred dollars more.
After spending about 2 hours at the PC show, we walked to hall 4 to the Metro sale. On my way out of hall 6, I saw Ms Lim with her husband. I shall not describe my encounter here. We grabbed a few items and then headed back to the car. At that time, I was already very tired from all the standing and walking. I thought we were going home already but my family decided to go to Tampines for dinner. We went to the food court at Tampines Mall for dinner before going to the Converse shop to buy my school shoes. A crowd gathered around one of the shops so we went to take a look. A crew from channel 8 was filming for one of their variety programmes. The actors had to go through the same things over and over again. I wonder why they do not get bored, repeating the same things over and over again. My sister then went to Century square to look at some Nokia handphones. We went back to Tampines Mall again and there was this performance put up by Kids Central. We all went back to Century Square again to look at some mattresses but ended up not buying because there was a delivery charge. We then went back for the last time to Tampines Mall to buy some things from NTUC before going home.
I think my father is very generous, but this is not always the case. I'm so lucky that he is in his generous mood today. I can't wait for the new computer to be delivered.
